VIDEO: Man shot at point-blank range inside West Philadelphia restaurant

Police have released surveillance video of a shooting inside a West Philadelphia restaurant that left a man in critical condition.

The shooting occurred back on November 3, around 11:20 p.m. at the Pekin Inn Chinese restaurant on the 4900 block of Catherine Street.

Surveillance video shows the victim, a 38-year-old man, talking to the suspect in the doorway of the restaurant. During the conversation, police say the suspect pulled out a silver handgun and shot the victim once in the abdomen.

The victim begins to back out of the doorway, onto the street, and the suspect follows him out the door, shooting at him again.

Police say the victim was struck by gunfire several times, and was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The suspect has been described by police as a black male, standing 6'2" with shoulder length dreadlocks.
