Wanted: Police seek suspect who attacked man in Packer Park

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - South Detective Division is looking to identify the man responsible for an aggravated assault that left a man with head injuries.

Recently released surveillance footage which captures the event that took place this past September in Packer Park.

At 2:15 a.m., a group of men can be seen gathering at the corner of Hutchinson Street and Oregon Avenue.

They then proceed to follow the complainant, a 28-year-old male, as he walks on the 900 block of Oregon Avenue.

The video captured the suspect attacking the complainant and fleeing to the 2600 block of South Hutchinson Street.

According to police, the complainant was transported to Jefferson Hospital where he was treated for head injuries.
