Crews cleanup after pipe breaks in West Philadelphia

A pipe leading to a fire hydrant has been repaired and water has been turned back on in West Philadelphia.

The pipe broke just before 5:00 a.m. Friday morning on 63rd and Haverford Streets. The 6 inch pipe was repaired by 3 p.m. Friday.

Trolley and shuttle bus services between 60th and 63rd Streets (Route 15) were suspended but has since been restored.
