Wawa launches brand new credit card

(WTXF) - Soon Wawa shoppers will have a new way to pay for all of their goodies - a credit card.

The food retailer, based in Media, has launched a partnership with City Retail Services to bring forth the Wawa credit card, according to BizJournals.

The credit card will be able to be used on any food, beverage, or other merchandise at any Wawa location.

However, if you use it to fill up your gas tank, you could see some added bonuses.

According to BizJournals, customers who use the credit card to buy gas will save five cents a gallon - up to 100 gallons a month.

The report states that the savings per gallon will be applied as a credit at the end of the month to cardholders' credit card statements.

Credit card users can save even more through to the end of this year. They will be able to save 25 cents per gallon.

Applications for the card are available in all Wawa stores, or alternatively, customers can apply online at www.WawaCreditCard.com or by phone at 1-800-251-6781.
