Man charged in West Deptford Township assault

WEST DEPTFORD, NJ (WTXF) Authorities say they have charged a man in connection with an assault in West Deptford Township.

According to the West Deptford Police Department, Paul Anthony Cojocaru, 26, of National Park, is charged with aggravated assault (3rd Degree) and terroristic threats (3rd Degree).

His bail was set at $50,000 full cash. Cojocaru posted bail and was released pending court hearings.

Police launched an investigation after a video was posted to Facebook showing a man allegedly throwing punches at a teenager.

A family source of two teenage boys told FOX 29's Chris O'Connell that the violent video was taken back in January but just released on social media last week.
