Wilmington man arrested, charged in 2013 double homicide

NEW CASTLE COUNTY, DE (WTXF) - Another arrest has been made in the 2013 Paladin Club double homicide in Wilmington.

New Castle County Police Criminal Investigation Unit announced Monday that detectives arrested and charged 32-year-old Aaron Thompson of Wilmington with the murder of Joseph and Olga Connell.

The press release states that the Delaware Attorney General's Office provided guidance and support that led to his arrest.

Thompson has been charged with two counts of murder in the first degree, two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and conspiracy in the first degree.

He is being held without bail at the Sussex Correctional Institution.
