James Meyers says he was driving his daughter to school Tuesday, March 22 when a police officer pulled him over for a defective tail light.
He says the officer told him there was a warrant out for his arrest from 2002, because Meyers had rented the movie "Freddy Got Fingered" starring Tom Green and never returned it.
The warrant was issued on Feb 22, 2002 by J&J Video in Salisbury, North Carolina. The warrant, which was signed by a magistrate, directs law enforcement officials to arrest the person and take them before a judicial official without unnecessary delay to answer to the charges.

Meyers was transported to the Cabarrus County Jail, where he was brought before Magistrate Bogar and
