Man sought in parental abduction, police say

Police in North Philadelphia are searching for a man, they say, abducted three children Sunday.

Officials say the call came from the 2800 block of West Sedgley Avenue Sunday afternoon just before 2 o'clock. Three children were abducted from the location Sunday, about 11 a.m.

The children, ages 6, 3 and 2, were all located at the 6300 block of Leonard Street. They were unharmed.

Police say the man they are seeking is the 35-year-old father of the two youngest children. Police indicate the man fled the scene in a red 2004 Acura with heavy tinted windows and large rims.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the man are asked to contact police.
