Mike Jerrick gets Market Street pothole filled on Good Day

We all know that there are many potholes in Philadelphia. Mike Jerrick, co-host of Good Day Philadelphia was on a mission Thursday morning to get some of them filled.

Mike called on the Streets Department to try to fill the hole before 10 a.m. when Good Day Philadelphia is over.

PENNDOT workers showed up at 4th and Market Streets around 9:45 a.m.

Workers began filling the pothole in front of the TV studio right away.

As for the larger, long pothole on the other side of Market Street, the workers told Mike that it was the responsibility of someone else.

Apparently, one of the business across the street from FOX 29 studio on Market Street had some plumbing problems and a plumber came out and made that hole in the street.

Now it is the responsibility of that business to fill the pothole.
