ALFRED, ME - A Maine woman goes missing while visiting a friend in Tampa, Florida.
Family and friends of fifty-two year old Judi Therianos say it is not unlike her to disappear for a few days.
But this time it's different.
The last time anyone heard from Therianos was on March 11.
Two weeks later, there is still no word on her whereabouts.
And calls to her phone have gone straight to voicemail.
Glenda Cook, a family friend, said, "I'm really worried."
"On the 11th that night she showed up at the place she was staying in Hudson, Florida.
"She came with a man his name is Charlie, he's like 75 years old-ish and he had long white beard and long white hair and she had a black eye.
"Down in Florida she could be anywhere. She could be in Mexico she could be in the middle of the ocean, she could be anywhere.
Now family members have filed a missing person's report and started a social media campaign in order to find her.
Shawn Therianos, Judi’s son, said, "She just likes to live like she's still in high school a lot.
"She's really trusting of people and she'll talk to anybody when she's drinking and that basically probably got her into this whole thing to begin with."
"She's a fun loving type of person that just likes to go on adventures and I just want her to come out of hiding and say 'joke's over,” Cook said.
Therianos went to Tampa to visit a friend with cancer.
In the last message she left for her family, they say she sounded intoxicated.
The Pasco County Sheriff's Office in Florida is now investigating her disappearance.
Maine State Police is also launching an investigation.
Officials from both states are urging the public to come forward with any information.
