French woman turns to social media for help finding father of her unborn child

According to reports, the story of a pregnant young French woman, Natalie Amyot, has been revealed to be a viral marketing stunt. Reports say it was set-up by a Sunshine Coast-based social media company.

Natalie Amyot claimed that she met a man in Mooloolaba, Australia three months ago. The very next day, she flew home to Paris.

But then six weeks later, she learned she was pregnant.

And she claims that she lost the phone containing the man’s – who is “about six foot”, tanned, blue-eyed, with blonde hair -- information.

Amyot explains in her YouTube video that she fell in love with the man at first sight and the two visited O’Malley’s pub and the Wharf Tavern.

She said that she “really” wants to see him again, adding, “If he doesn’t want to know then that’s ok but I really want to try and find him.”

Amyot also says that she has no family of her own.

She posted the account to both her own Facebook page and to the Sunny Coast Community Board Facebook page, but offered no other details than the ones already available.
