Officer writes heated Facebook post after he is turned away from restaurant for carrying weapon


A Kansas City Police officer posted a heated message to Facebook after he was turned away from an Olive Garden restaurant for carrying a weapon.

Michael Holsworth recounts in his post how despite being in uniform and on duty, still being asked to leave the establishment by an employee at the restaurant.

“Now I never in my wildest thoughts would of thought this would happen in the Kansas City area. I see it happening all over the United States to other officers but never thought it would of happened to me,” wrote Holsworth.

Following the incident, the Olive Garden Twitter account has responded to multiple users concerned about the treatment of the officer saying that the company’s president has apologized to Holsworth personally.
