GEORGETOWN, TX - A man in Texas is caught following a two-day crime spree across three cities in the state.
Police arrested Silvestre Franco-Luviano at a complex in Georgetown, who is wanted for kidnapping and robbing a landscaper at a department store last Monday as well as killing two other men... At least one of those men was killed during a car-jacking.
He also reportedly set fire to his sister's apartment.
“At some point during the incident, he did break through the wall into an adjoining apartment, which is why we are very glad we evacuated that apartment," Lt. Colin Chenault with Cedar Hill Police said.
Authorities caught him as he was coming out of the building.
"He has a number of aliases. I don't know which one of these is true,” Lt. Chenault said.
Hector Gomez, a U.S. Marshal with the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force said, "As a result, they were able to identify key family members and maintain surveillance posture for most of the day to the point where at approximately four, four-thirty, they were able to follow off a family member, make contact with that family member..."
Authorities say he has been deported three times.
