No Joke: Great Adventure's latest roller coaster stuck upside down

Six Flags Great Adventure previewed its latest roller coaster on Thursday, but apparently it didn't go smoothly.

The ride is called The Joker, and it's supposed to give riders a feeling of weightlessness, but our news partners at Chasing News report this:

The video showed those passengers back on the ground.

This is the day Great Adventure opened for daily for the season.

Coaster enthusiasts and season pass holders were on hand to board The Joker, which is named for the DC Comics character.

The free-fly coaster features head-over-heel flips, drops and a 120-foot lift outside the confines of a traditional track.

The roller coaster opens to the public on Saturday.
