Officer, civilian recovering after crash

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - A police officer is recovering after a car crash in West Philadelphia. You can see the front of the cruiser was heavily damaged.

Investigators were called to the 5700 block of Girard Avenue after 10pm Saturday to find the police vehicle and two other cars at the crash scene.

The officer and someone in another vehicle were taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
