Boyertown, Pa. (WTXF) - Officials say a threat was made against a 9th grade class at Boyertown High School. The principal sent an email out to parents Monday night saying they are investigating the threat and there will be an increased police presence there Tuesday.
Authorities say the threat was made by a senior on Friday and that student has since been expelled.
Right now, it's not clear what exactly the threat was about.
Colebrookdale Township police posted the following on Facebook:
"We are aware of the threats being made to Boyertown Senior High School. School officals are also aware of the threats and there will be police presence at the school tomorrow. Thank you."
