One injured and many displaced after a fire in Northeast Philadelphia

Multiple people have been displaced after a late night fire on Sheffield Avenue Wednesday night in Northeast Philadelphia.

Officials say the first fire started around 11:30 p.m. and was pronounced under control shortly after it started.

Once on the scene, firefighters say an elderly person was injured and transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation and is currently in stable condition.

Investigators say a total of 10 people were displaced including six adults and four children.
