Parents reached out to FOX 29 asking for help after they say their teens were randomly targeted and attacked in West Oak Lane.

Swollen and in pain 17-year-old Marlon Francois recorded a video for us from his hospital bed right before heading into surgery to repair multiple breaks in his jaw.

"They started running and I started running to but they pulled my bag and I fell and they all just started stomping me," he told FOX 29.

The Building 21 11th grader was rushed to the hospital after being jumped by a swarm of kids allegedly all from nearby MLK High. His mom says he doesn't even know the attackers.

She was in traffic when she got the call..

"I stopped the car crying all I could do is pray until I get to the hospital," she said. "I don't know what to say it was a mess the police were there. He talked to me."

Behavioral therapist Nequetta Alford says six Building 21 students were attacked on Monday. She says one was rushed to Saint Christopher's Hospital.

Abdul Askew Jr. is out of the hospital now. He was escorted safely to a bus after he says MLK students started gathering near Building 21.

"They wait for our let out to come down here and start stuff.," he said.

School district spokesman Lee Whack says administrators are working on stopping the flash mobs and trying to figure out what's behind them.
