Pedestrian struck, killed in Buckingham

- Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian accident on Route 263 near Peddler's Village in Buckingham, Pa.

It happened around 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Witnesses at the scene provided information on the striking vehicle which resulted in it being located by New Hope Boro Police on Route 179 with a single occupant who was identified as the driver, according to police. Investigators say the driver was a 52-year-old female, from Warminster, who was transported to Doylestown Hospital for further investigation. 

Police say the pedestrian was identified as a 31-year-old male resident of Buckingham Township.
