Perkasie police investigate reported child luring attempt

Perkasie, Pa. (WTXF) - Perkasie police are investigating a reported child luring attempt.

According to police, the alleged incident happened Monday around 7 p.m.

Investigators say an 11-year-old girl left a local business to get something from a vehicle when she was walking back to the business she told police she believed a man was motioning her to come to his truck. No words were exchanged.

Police would like to identify and speak to the driver. Police describe him as 30-40 years old, with reddish brown hair and beard, wearing a dark red sweatshirt. The vehicle appears to be a white work truck with a ladder rack and a blue emblem on the side. Police say the vehicle pulled into the parking lot behind Remax 440 and then backed out onto 7th St.
