Person Fatally Struck by AMTRAK Train in Tullytown, PA

Amtrak has confirmed that a one of their trains struck and killed an individual on the tracks in Tullytown Pennsylvania Saturday morning.

The victim has been identified as 27-year-old George N. Redner III.

The incident occurred a SEPTA's Levittown Station just around 10:15 a.m.

A spokesperson for Amtrak says investigators are not yet sure if the individuals presence on the track was accidental or intentional.

None of the 304 passengers or personnel on the train were injured.

The train was held at the station pending further investigation.

A rep from Amtrak has confirmed that all tracks are now back in service and trains are operating normally.
