Philadelphia police ID suspect sought in Jefferson Station stabbing

Philadelphia police say they are searching for a man in connection with a stabbing Jefferson Station last week.

It happened last Thursday just after 3 a.m. at Jefferson Station at 10th and Filbert Streets on a train platform in Center City. Investigators arrived at the scene on platform 1B and rushed the man to Jefferson hospital. At 4:15 a.m. he was pronounced dead. There was no ID found on the victim.

According to police, they are looking for 23-year-old Zair Bennet-Warwick. He is to be considered armed and dangerous.

Officials say the victim was stabbed multiple times in his chest, neck, torso and arms. No knife was found at the scene.

Zair Bennet-Warwick is between 6'3 and is between 200 pounds. He may be in the area of Mass Transit Platforms in Center City.
