Philadelphia police investigate North Philly shooting that injures man

Philadelphia police are seeking answers as they investigate a shooting that injured a man.

Investigators say it was just before 4 p.m. Sunday they were called to the unit block of North 39th Street. After they arrived, they found a 28-year-old man shot three times. Police say he was shot in the neck, the left shoulder and a finger was shot.

Through investigation, police discovered the scene of the shooting was the 2400 block of West Somerset.

According to police, the man drove himself to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. The victim was listed in stable condition.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
