Plea deal expected for two men charged with killing Philadelphia police officer

Two men charged with killing a Philadelphia police officer will enter a plea deal.

Fraternal Order of Police officials say Carlton Hipps and Ramone Williams are expected to be sentenced to life in prison plus fifty years for the killing of Officer Robert Wilson III.

Officer Wilson was shot and killed in February 2015 at a Lehigh Avenue Game Stop during an attempted robbery.

This follows District Attorney Larry Krasner's campaign vow to never seek capital punishment.

Hipps and Williams are expected to enter the plea deal Monday.
