Police: 15 pounds of marijuana found during traffic stop

Pa. State Police say a trooper found 15 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop on I-476 in Haverford Township.

According to State Police, the trooper conducted a traffic stop after a registration check revealed that the registration belonged on a different vehicle. The trooper also noticed that the registered owner was suspended and was able to view a PennDot photo of the registered owner, according to investigators.

Police say the trooper then pulled alongside of the vehicle and determined that it was the registered owner operating the vehicle on a suspended driver's license. State Police say the trooper found approximately 15 pounds of marijuana located in the trunk of the vehicle.

28-year-old Bryan Maynard Barclay was taken into custody and transported to Delaware County Prison for Commitment after he was unable to post bail, according to police.
