PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) Philadelphia Police are investigating an incident after a tow truck struck three pedestrians, including two young children, Monday night in the city's Fairhill neighborhood.

Around 7:00 p.m., police say the truck was heading south on B Street when it struck three people who were attempting to cross the street.

A 24-year-old woman, and two young girls aged one and three-years old were taken to local hospitals.

The woman was listed in critical condition with a broken back and pelvis, and multiple facial fractures.

The three-year-old girl was also listed in critical condition with a skull fracture and neck injuries, while the one-year-old was listed in stable condition with cuts and bruises.
