Police: $35,000 in Tobacco Products Stolen from Mini Mart

Reading, Pa. (WTXF) Police say someone stole $35,000 in tobacco products from the Jassie Mini Mart on Penn Street in Reading, Pa.

It happened sometime overnight Wednesday into Thursday. The owners say someone was able to turn off all eight surveillance cameras, the security system and the phone line before entering the building. The owners didn't want to be seen on camera but say they're baffled.

According to the owners, it could have been an inside job. Police are now interviewing a former handyman who did some work around the store.
