Boy, 2, Taken From Home By Father Found Safe

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Philadelphia Police have located a two year old boy who went missing early Saturday morning. He was found unharmed.

Police say the boy's father Jonathan Elliot, 25, took Jaiden from his mother's home after breaking in through a front window. The father remains at large.

The incident occurred around 3:00 a.m. on the 5500 block of Walnut Street in the city's Elmwood section.

Officer's responded to the scene after receiving a call about a break-in. Officers arrived and spoke with Jaiden's mother.

The woman informed the officers that Jonathan broke into her home through the window, and punched her several times before picking up Jaiden, and fleeing the home in a vehicle.

The vehicle has been described as a newer model, black Nissan Altima with PA Tag JKT-4916.
