Police continue to search for gunman in death of 8-year-old Camden girl

It's been weeks since 8-year-old Gabby Carter was struck by a stray bullet while riding her bike across the street from her Camden home. She died just days later at the hospital. We still have no answers or arrests in the shooting death of the little girl taken too soon.

Gabby's organs were donated. In fact, a family member received her liver. As her uncle put it: she was able to spread life.

Anyone with information on the gunman or incident is urged to contact call Camden County Prosecutor's Office Detective Sherman Hopkins at 856 225-8623 or Camden County Police Department Detective Michael Ross at 856-757-7420. Information can also be emailed to ccpotips@ccprosecutor.org.

The reward being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever shot 8-year-old Gabby has been increased to $76,000.
