They say the victim was walking on the 3900 block of Old York Road at about 9pm Wednesday when somebody driving a white Toyota Prius southbound hit him.

He flew 30 feet into the air and struck another car's bumper before hitting the ground. He died from head trauma and his name has not been released.

Then, police say the driver headed southbound on Old York Road, abandoned the car in the 1300 block of W. Pike Street and escaped. You can see damage to the car.

The driver was last seen on foot, heading westbound on Pike Street.

Turns out, the car had been stolen months ago from Lansdowne, Delaware County.

Police say neighbors told them they've seen the car and know a woman drives it.
