Police investigate attempted luring in Levittown

The Falls Township Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a man for allegedly attempting to lure a 12-year-old girl.

The incident took place around 5:45 p.m. on Monday. A 12-year-old girl was walking in the area of Thornridge Drive and Tulip Lane in Levittown when she was approached by a suspect driving a grey car. The victim remembers that the car had a "sporty rear spoiler" and an emblem similar to a Mitsubishi's.

Believing that the male was trying to lure her into the car, the victim contacted 911 until police officers arrived on scene. A search of the area failed to locate the suspect. After searching the area, officers were unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as a white man approximately 30 years of age with a heavy build, short brown hair (not receding) and no facial hair. He was last seen wearing a dark t-shirt.
