Son Charged in Death of 82-Year-Old Father

Wynnefield, Pa. (WTXF) Police say a son has been charged with the murder of his 82-year-old father.

According to police, 82-year-old Solomon Gethers was found dead inside a home on the 5700 block of Woodbine Avenue in Wynnefield Wednesday.

Police say Solomon was stabbed multiple times in the head. According to investigators, the motive was determined to be a domestic argument between the deceased and his 29-year-old son Victor Gethers. Victor Gethers was arrested and charged with the murder of his father, authorities announced.
