Man killed in Southwest Philadelphia double shooting

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Police are investigating after a fatal double shooting in Southwest Philadelphia.

Authorities were called to the 4600 block of Linmore Avenue just before 8 p.m. Sunday.

Upon their arrival, officers discovered two people suffering from gunshot wounds. A 20-yera-old man who was shot once in the abdomen reportedly took himself to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. His condition is unknown at this time.

The second victim was shot once in the chest. He was transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Police have yet to identify the deceased.

This is an ongoing investigation. No weapon has been recovered and no arrests have been made at this time.
