Police investigate multiple connected robberies in Northeast Philadelphia

Police are investigating multiple commercial robberies in Northeast Philadelphia and surrounding counties.

The 6 robberies, listed below, happened between September 24 and October 11.

Police say the pattern is based on the description of offender, weapon used and geographic proximity. They believe the cases involved at least 2 offenders wearing the same clothing during the incidents.

7-Eleven in Upper Southampton

An armed robbery of a 7-Eleven store occurred on October 8 just after 3:00 a.m. The Upper Southampton Police are seeking a white male subject who entered the store brandishing a black semi-automatic large frame pistol. The clerk fled via a back door. The suspect attempted to access the cash drawer before taking several packs of cigarettes and fleeing. The subject wore a dark-colored zipper hoodie inside-out, blue jeans, black sneakers with a white sole and a purple Halloween mask and gloves.

7-Eleven at 25 Newtown Road, Warminster Township

The Warminster Township Police is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the 7-Eleven Store located at 25 Newtown Road Warminster Township. On October 2 at about 11:54 p.m., a suspect entered the store wearing a skeleton mask and brandishing a pistol. The suspect demanded cash and cigarettes and fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash. No customers were in the store at the time and no one was injured. Police describe the suspect as a white male, approximately 6' tall with a thin build, 30-35 years of age and wearing a maroon colored shirt and a black colored Halloween mask.

7-Eleven at 8101 Oxford Avenue

On Sunday, September 24 at 11:13 p.m., an unknown white male entered the 7-Eleven store located at 8101 Oxford Avenue and brought some items to the cash register then pulled a black handgun from his backpack demanding money from both registers. After taking an undisclosed amount of money along with the merchandise which the male had brought to the counter, he fled and was last seen west on Oxford Avenue toward Rhawn Street. No injuries were reported during this incident. Police describe the suspect as a white male 19-21 years, 5'7 to 5'8, thin build wearing a black bandana and hoodie, black, blue and orange New York Knicks basketball shorts ¾ length, and black sneakers, wearing a knee brace to his left leg with tattoos on the legs. Male was armed with a black semi-auto pistol.

7-Eleven 1900 Welsh Road

On October 8 at 1:34 a.m., an unknown black male entered the 7-Eleven located 1900 Welsh Road wearing a mask and gloves demanding money and merchandise. After taking an undisclosed amount of money and 40 packs of cigarettes, the suspect fled the store and was last seen east on Welsh Road toward Roosevelt Boulevard. No injuries were reported during this incident. Police describe the suspect as a black male, 22 years-of-age, 5'8", wearing a light gray hooded shirt, dark pants, and armed with a small handgun.

Sunoco 13000 Bustleton Avenue

On Monday, October 9 at 2:18 a.m., a white male entered the Sunoco located at 13000 Bustleton Avenue armed with a handgun. After taking an undisclosed amount of money the suspect fled and was last seen north on Bustleton Avenue. No injuries were reported during this incident. Police describe the suspect as a white male, 22 years-of-age, 5'8", thin build, dark complexion, wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, and armed with a handgun.

Sunoco 10950 Roosevelt Boulevard

On October 11 at 1:30 a.m., an unknown black male entered the Sunoco located at 10950 East Roosevelt Boulevard armed with a handgun. After taking an undisclosed amount of money and an unknown amount of store product including cigarettes, and attempting to take the complainant's vehicle he fled and was last seen south on the Roosevelt Boulevard. No injuries were reported during this incident. Police describe the suspect as a black male, 25 years-of-age, 6'2", thin build, light complexion, wearing a gray colored hooded sweatshirt with a white emblem on the front, and armed with a handgun.
