Police Investigate Reports of Man Exposing Himself Off to WCU Students

West Chester, Pa. (WTXF) Police say they have received reports of a male exposing himself off campus near West Chester University.

Police say a description of the man is the same in the two cases last weekend. The first alleged incident happened in an alley around bar-closing time Saturday morning in the 400 block of South New Street. Police describe the suspect as a white male, in his 40's, bald, wearing glasses and partially nude who shines a flashlight on himself.

Police say it allegedly happened again one block away on South Darlington Street early Sunday morning, when two female students were approached.

"Enjoyed living here for the last 15 years, and I hate to hear stories like this," One West Chester resident told FOX 29.

The university was quickly put out the alert. Students we spoke to were aware, but not fearful.

Some people are concerned that crime like this could escalate. The university's website reported 6 sex offenses on campus in 2014 and 7 the year before.

Students say the university reminds students regularly to take personal safety seriously.
