Police looking for suspect involved in Center City Wawa stabbing

CENTER CITY PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Police are looking for a man who they say punched and stabbed a man at a Center City Wawa Thursday night.

investigators say the suspect punched and stabbed a 27-year-old man outside of the Wawa located at 201 South Broad Street. The man allegedly punched the victim in the face and followed him into the store where he stabbed the victim with an unknown object three times in his back and once in the left shoulder and chest.

The victim was transported to Jefferson Hospital and is in unknown condition.

The suspect was described by police as having medium build, beard and mustache, and around 5'8".
