Police: Man asked boys to urinate in a bottle for $20

Two middle schoolers were walking home from school when police say a man approached them and asked them if they wanted to make $20 by urinating in a bottle.

"My son is a 7th grader at the junior high school in Abington. He was walking home--close to the elementary school--a man came up to him in a black SUV and offered him $20 to pee in a bottle," the mom of the victim said.

This mom of a 12-year-old boy in Abington is clearly upset.

"My son was like, 'No, thank you I don't have to go to the bathroom' and just went about his business the man said, 'Come on man it's like a quick 20 if you want to make it'. My son said, 'No, thank you' and sped ahead,"she said.

This bizarre and frightening exchange happened along a stretch of road near an elementary school.

"There's young children out there being approached by a stranger and we don't know what his intentions are and we want to find that out," Abington Police Sgt. Greg Urban said.

Abington police posted an alert on the township Facebook page as did the family of one of the victims.

The victim's mother says there is speculation about the motive.

"I guess he wants clean urine for a drug test or something or is being a pervert I'm not sure what it is," the mom said.

Either way, parents are worried and police are calling it a priority case.

"It's very important to us. It's also around an elementary school so it's a high priority," Sgt. Urban said.
