Police officer OK after crash with alleged drunk driver

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - A police officer involved in an overnight crash is alright. Authorities say a drunk driver hit the police cruiser.

Investigators say the crash happened at 3:15am, when the officer was at E. Hunting Park Avenue and Macalester Street in North Philadelphia.

No one was hurt.

The driver of the other car was taken into custody for DUI.
