Police search for a restaurant robbery suspects in West Philly

Police are searching for a man they say robbed a restaurant in West Philly.

The incident happened on September 26 around 3:30 pm at Just to Serve You restaurant located at 5633 West Girard Avenue.

The victim, a 24-year-old-female, was walking into the restaurant with a bag containing the company payroll. As she walked into the restaurant, an unknown black male walked up behind her, grabbed the bag and fled south on foot.

As the employee gave chase, the suspect turned and pointed a handgun at her then continued to flee on foot until he was picked up in a light colored Mercury Grand Marquis sedan driven by a second unknown black male.

Police describe the first suspect as a black male, 50 years-of-age, thin build, bald with a full black and gray beard, wearing an unbuttoned teal and orange long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, glasses, teal Polo baseball cap, and armed with a handgun.

They describe the second suspect as a black male, heavy set, beard, wearing a light colored shirt, light colored pants, and a black baseball hat. The vehicle is described as a light-colored Mercury Grand Marquis sedan.
