Police search for suspects in connection with Kensington business robbery

Police in Kensington are searching for three men in connection with a robbery at a business.

According to authorities, three men walked into a gas station at 2100 East Allegheny Avenue December 18, just after 7 a.m. One of the suspects allegedly took two sandwiches and two cups of coffee. He left the store without paying.

It was then reported that an employee got into a dispute with the suspects. A suspect then threw coffee at the glass booth where an employee was standing. One suspect then assaulted one of the employees and left the store.

A short time later, police say two of the suspects came back to the gas station and tried to get into the glass booth. They couldn't gain entry and, as seen in surveillance video, began to destroy store fixtures.

The two suspects left the store on foot and were last seen heading south on Amber Street from Allegheny Avenue.

No injuries were reported in the incident.
