Police search for suspects in Lawnside Home Depot attempted robbery

- Authorities say they are searching for a man and two women in connection with an attempted robbery in Lawnside, New Jersey, Friday.

According to police, the group entered the Home Depot at 310 White Horse Pike around 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 2. Investigators say the  group proceeded to gather multiple power tools from the tool corral.  After loading the tools into a shopping cart, the man pushed the shopping cart to an area of the garden center that backs up to the parking lot and started to cut a hole in the fence, according to police.
 
A female employee confronted them and a struggle ensued.  Police say the man fled the store empty handed after rendering the employee unconscious and laying on the ground.  The females also fled on foot.
 
The Home Depot employee was to be evaluated at a local hospital.
 
Police describe the man as approximately 5'6'' to 5'8" tall and weighs about 150 to 180 pounds.  He was wearing a light colored hooded sweatshirt and dark colored pants.
