Police: Suspect rammed into police cruiser in stolen car

Willistown Township, Pa.(WTXF) Police say a suspect is on the run after running into police. It all started when a man allegedly stole a car then crashed into a police cruiser before taking off on foot into Ridley Creek Park.

Authorities advise the public to be aware of Tyrell Winchester. Police say the suspect is wanted for attempted murder and related charges stemming from the incident Thursday evening where he allegedly attempted to run over a Willistown Township police officer in a stolen vehicle.

District Attorney stated, "This suspect should be considered very dangerous. He used a stolen vehicle to try to run over a police officer. He should turn himself into police immediately before anyone gets hurt. If anyone has information on his wherebaouts, call 911."

The Pennsylvania State Police, the Willistown Police, Delaware County Distrct Attorney's Office, Chester County District Attorney's Office, and Chester County Sheriff's Office are working together with all the surrounding police departments to locate the suspect. The suspect was last seen in the area of Ridley Creek State Park in Delaware County.
