Police: Teen killed, 2 teens wounded in Chester shooting

Police say a 15-year-old has died and two other teens has been wounded in a shooting that took place in Chester.

It happened around 3 p.m. Monday on the 1300 block of West 7th Street.

A silver Honda Accord was reportedly driving down the street when the suspect started shooting. When it was all over, three teens had been hit. A 15-year-old was shot in the chest, an 18-year-old in the thigh, and a 16-year-old in the butt.

The youngest of them was lying in the road, struggling to breathe when police arrived on the scene. An 18-year-old was inside a home groaning and talking to someone when police heard his cries. A 16-year-old who was hit in the butt was also on scene.

The teenagers were taken to Crozer Chester Medical Center. The 15-year-old victim who was struck in the torso did succumb to his injuries and was pronounced deceased, according to police. The other two victims are listed in stable condition.

The silver Honda allegedly driven or ridden by the suspect reportedly had tinted windows and a possible green panel.
