Police want person who murdered man, stole truck

Police in Burlington County are asking for help catching a murderer by finding a stolen truck.

New Jersey State Police say Friday afternoon, a man went to his son's home in Tabernacle Township and found his son unresponsive on the floor.

An autopsy deemed the manner of death to be homicide.

However, police aren't saying how he died "due to the ongoing investigation."

Detectives do say they're actively searching for a pickup truck that the victim rented but was stolen.

It's a 2016 white Chevrolet 2500 Crew Cab. There is a black utility rack on its bed, a Hertz placard on its side, and Tennessee license plate 243 63H2.

Anyone with information is asked to call New Jersey State Police at 609-859-2282 or 911.
