Power poles down, 100 customers without A/C on this hot day

About 100 Delaware County electricity customers are without power after three utility poles came down.

It happened late Monday morning in Clifton Heights when PECO said a truck knocked down the three poles, along with the wires connecting them.

This was the scene along Fatima Drive. Dispatchers say summer classes at Ridley High School were stopped and students had to be evacuated because there was no air conditioning.

Crews are at the scene working to make the area safe, replace those poles and hang the wires back up.
