Romantic photoshoot captures couples joy after almost 50 years of marriage

RALEIGH, N.C. (Storyful/WTXF) - A photographer's photos of her parents after almost 50 years of marriage are going viral.

The couple's sweetness and pure joy were perfectly captured by their photographer daughter.

Amber Robinson shared the photos of her parents to Facebook on November 30.

The photos show her parents in front of an autumnal scenic background, with their arms around each other.

"These are my parents: married for 47 years, they have triumphed over cancer…twice," Robinson wrote. "Have raised two successful daughters. They have been poor together and rich together. They have fed, sheltered, and advised countless lost souls. They love without expectation and give freely, whatever it is they have to offer."

She also wrote that a "wedding is only a day, but a marriage is forever."
