Search on for man behind gas station holdup

A man walked into a gas station and demanded the 24-year-old woman working there give him money from the cash register.

Police say it happened just after midnight last Thursday at the Sunoco at 2500 Island Avenue.

Then, "After showing the employee the butt of a handgun, she removed the cash drawer from the cash register, placing it on the counter."

The robber took an unknown amount of money from the drawer and got away.

He is described as about 5'10" tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with "Rutgers" on the front, and light-colored pants with cargo pockets on the legs.
