Second Newborn Panda Cub Spotted in Vienna Zoo

(STORYFUL) A second panda cub was spotted in the breeding box of Yang Yang the giant panda at Schönbrunn Zoo, Vienna, on August 12, according to a press release issued by the zoo. Yang Yang gave birth on August 7, but only one of the cubs could be seen on camera. The survival rate for pandas in the first few weeks is 50 percent.

The cubs are being reared in a breeding box, out of sight of visitors. They will be shown to the public after about four months.
