SEPTA Police Investigating Driver Who Threw Water at Passenger in Olney

- PHILADELPHIA, PA (WTXF) – SEPTA Police are investigating an altercation that happened on one of its buses over the weekend.


A 15-second video uploaded by Instagram user @macho_santos shows a male driver throwing water on a female passenger.


The clip shows the driver approaching a woman standing in the center aisle of the bus and throwing what appears to be bottled water in her face as she tries to push him away.  


The incident happened in a Route 57 bus stop between Rising Sun and Duncannon avenues on Friday, officials said.


SEPTA Chief Thomas J. Nestel III says that driver has now been suspended as staff continues to investigate what caused the incident.
