Camden shooting has roads near Haddon Avenue closed

CAMDEN, N.J. (WTXF) - An early morning shooting has roads closed in a busy area of Camden, and they could be closed a few more hours.

SKYFOX is over the scene near the corner of Haddon Avenue and Division Street.

That's near the PATCO High-Speed Line and two hospitals: Our Lady of Lourdes and Cooper.

Police haven't said much but they told FOX 29 News the victim is a young man and the violence happened after 6 a.m. That's when the Crime Scene Unit has taped off several roads, shutting down three blocks.

Neighbors have been talking to FOX 29's Steve Keeley. One told him a victim collapsed in front of her house.

Keeley notes Camden had a quiet first quarter with no murders, but violence has picked up over summer.
